This outstanding education and history reflects her extensive knowledge of dentistry and her commitment to patient care. As Practice Manager, Michelle’s warm and friendly personality will make you feel at home and at ease in our office. Her caring nature will help every patient feel like a part of the family. She will be the friendly voice on the other end of the phone, help you to schedule appointments, maximize dental benefits, and arrange financial options. Michelle is originally from the Midwest, having grown up in a small town in Indiana. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ross, two grown sons, young daughter, and extended family in Indiana. Michelle now resides in Brewster where she enjoys hiking, traveling, laughing with friends and family, and going to Red Sox games. April A. Silva, Certified Dental Assistant  April is the chairside dental assistant, coordinator of dental instruments, oversees operations of the computer dental radiography, and dental equipment specialist. She spends a great deal of her day working side by side with Dr. Allegretti and the dental patients. She has been in the dental field for over 25 years and her extensive experience helps the patients to feel comfortable while in her care. Her bubbly and positive personality makes her a great asset to our team.“The best part of my job is making patients feel comfortable in our office. Communication and dental education are very important to me.” April lives in North Truro with her husband Timmy. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her two grown sons and two grandchildren. She also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, gardening, fishing and enjoying the company of good friends. Karen M. Brenser, Registered Dental Hygienist  Karen began her dental career in Lake Tahoe, California and brings 23 years of dental knowledge with her to Provincetown Dental Arts. She went back to school and graduated from Cape Cod Community College’s Dental Hygiene program in 2003. Karen is a member of both Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Phi Alpha National Honor Societies. Karen provides her patients with quality dental care and prides herself on being an advocate of patient education. She strives for optimal dental health for her patients. Karen’s likes to enjoy her personal time outdoors with her husband Jim. They both enjoy jogging, mountain biking, windsurfing, and gardening. Hilary M. Gambrill, Administrative Assistant/Certified Dental Assistant  Hilary splits her professional time between Provincetown and Boston utilizing her amazing 35 years of experience in the dental field in both locations. Having the opportunity to practice dentistry in the community she has grown to love is to fulfill a dream she has had for years. Her education began with a degree in Art History and switched career paths to dentistry when she moved to London England and completed a Dental Assisting Program. Hilary moved to the United States in 1978 and has worked in dentistry ever since. Over the course of her dental career she has completed over 1000 hours of continuing education in dental assisting and dental management. Hilary shares her life with her husband Norman and a high maintenance cat. They have been commuting between Boston and Provincetown for over 15 years and take full advantage of everything the Provincetown community has to offer year round. They both enjoy the theatre, concerts, the art scene and the outdoors and renovating their beautiful Provincetown home. |
